My one and only written final is tomorrow in DNA Tech. It's supposed to be really easy since the entire class failed to perform on the midterm. I'm having trouble concentrating on my notes because LOLEASY and BAUASFJNSJDHFNPS3WHENIGETHOME I've been waiting for this since Black Friday. How I've held out this long is beyond me.

I was supposed to go walk about in the city with Yun and Tamara tomorrow, but Tamara isn't replying to my text, Yun is concerned about finishing her faux application for class, and I kinda don't really want to go anymore. I guess the next few hours shall tell...

In other news, mom and I are going to Save-A-Thon and Target on Monday to look at sewing machines. OMGSOEXCITE

My friendish classmate did a presentation in DNA Tech yesterday that had me all amused and interested, because it was full of video game references and fourth wall breaks. He told me afterward that I was the reason he did it. "I remembered that when we were trying to work on [organic] chemistry, you kept diverting the conversation to video games every 5 minutes." Then I felt like a complete failure.

Sometimes I wonder if it's me. If I'm doing something wrong and Ron is slowly trying to get rid of me, instead of just giving me some criticism. I went to NYCentral today because I've been referred there for paper about a million times by different people. It was a lot smaller than I expected, but the paper had its own floor to itself. The selection was pretty much awesome. I didn't get any paper, because they sell everything by the big, expensive, sheet, and they had no 8x10 scrap multipacks in stock. I did get a jar of YES! paste that was referred to me by a lady in the paper department though. It seems promising. I hope I didn't waste my money. 8D

I finally started doing sketches for my BFA project. Sketched and inked two turtle heads, and colored one of them too. I love my new green ink, but I discovered that alcohol-based markers don't like the acrylic ink, which makes me ten type of sad. I did get some cool watercolor effects here and there though. I might pick up a few Tombo's from work or something 2morrow and play around with those.

So these are actually just a bunch of pokemon cutouts I'm doing to sell at New York Anime Festival. However, the mention of Pokemonathon does interest me. I don't think I could stay on track with that, though. At least, if I understand the concept of the community correctly. I've got a few pokemon sketched out already (pretty much random pokemon that I like), but feel free to suggest some that you'd like to see. Crispi's Guide to Prospect Park

You'll need to find yourself on the B or Q train. For most of you, that will be the Brooklyn-bound train. Get off at Prospect Park (yes, that's the name of the stop). You're going to leave through the Flatbush Avenue & Empire Boulevard entrance. If you're coming from Manhattan, that's the back of the train. When you exit the train station, turn left and Prospect Park will say hi. Walk straight and cross the street.

Keep walking down the block and you'll find these two column sort of things. Walk through those. I don't know what the road schedule is on Saturdays. Cars don't frequent Prospect Park, but they do come through, so be aware of your surroundings.

Keep walking. You'll pass this building and a traffic light.

OH SHIT FORK IN THE ROAD.
Take a right.

You'll hit this area. Go straight across. Look both ways before crossing. Seriously. Watch and listen for joggers/skaters/bikers and especially bike packs.

So when you cross you're going to enter Center Drive. It's pretty much just winding road. Be aware of bikers that come out of fucking nowhere.

Keep walking past the bridge. Mourn for the unfortunate tree.

Eventually you'll hit a clearing. This is Nethermead. Congrats, you win.
