Just Another Journal
I'm set for Otakon. I'm getting a free hotel stay and ride with Liz's mom, which is beyond awesome. I feel like I should pay her something in some way, but I honestly can't afford it. My paychecks are mysteriously getting smaller and smaller, which is making life difficult for me. I mean, I know I get every other saturday off now, but $400 to $285 is just, ugh. Food, metrocard, supplies, scool. HOW AM TO PAY? Some new clothes and footwear would be nice too. 8D </mini rant>
It came to my attention last night that the Olympics is August 8th at 8pm. How fast will Khadijah run back to the hotel room and plant her ass in front of the tv? I've been looking forward to this since I since China's amazing closing ceremony in 04. I remember saying how much I looked forward to 08.
I finally found a swimsuit bikini top that my boobs will fit in. Now I just need to find a cheap bottom and some board shorts that fit me. Course, all of them seem to be like 200XL at Target. I almost got one at the Models on Atlantic, but it was a size too big. The Models down here simply fails to perform with its lack of selection TO THE MAX.
I got my replacement credit and debit cards, and just activated them. They're both blue... T_T
I strolled into Virgin while I was in Union Square today and saw the Steel Pulse Ultimate Collection album for $10. I proceeded to shit bricks and buy it. The timing on that was amazing.
I want to draw other people's characters, but I just don't do it. Why do I fail so hard? Why do I fail at productivity in general this summer? It seems like my room with never be clean, and I don't do anything but stare at the computer screen as if I'm waiting for it to tell me what to do...
Well that was a pathetic journal.
Oh, and Air Gear. I enjoy watching Air Gear. I think my rollerblades are starting to fall apart tho. How am I supposed to be cool like storm riders with a squeaky right boot? I'm afraid it'll straight up just BREAK the nect time I go down Lookout Hill.
